Nomad Indoor is a Western Pennsylvania indoor percussion ensemble. Comprised of talented individuals aged 14 to 22, the ensemble represents a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences, united by their passion for percussion. As a proud competitor in Winter Guard International (WGI), Nomad Indoor showcases its top-tier musical instruction and captivating visual performances that push the boundaries of artistic expression.
My brand design captures the excitement and vibrancy of Nomad Indoor with bright colors and dramatic illustration. Inspired by the resurgence of neon hues in the fashion industry, the color palette infuses the logo with a sense of flair. Drawing from vintage Swatch watch designs as well as current trends, the logo and its variants exude boldness and originality. The N takes center stage while retaining the drumstick motif essential to the ensemble's identity. Promotional materials feature a dynamic composition of a snare drum and drumsticks suspended in negative space, illuminated by a spotlight from above, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the excitement of performance. Transitioning seamlessly onto letterheads and business cards, the brand maintains its bold aesthetic with a variant color scheme that ensures visibility and coherence against a white backdrop. Imagery on stationery and branded merchandise further reinforces the ensemble's identity, with the edge of a snare drum serving as a recurring motif alongside distinctive logo variations. From stage to stationery, the vibrant color scheme unifies the brand identity, ensuring instant recognition and leaving a lasting impression on audiences far and wide.
