This project entailed crafting both the cover and interior layout of an article hypothetically appearing in Forbes Magazine, delving into the perils of Deep Fake videos online. Striving for maximum impact, I aimed to captivate attention from the outset, opting for a striking cover image featuring Elvis Presley, gleefully engaged with a laptop, dressed in a resplendent golden costume. Utilizing an artificial intelligence application to generate the image, I then refined the image in Photoshop to achieve the end result—a visually arresting portrayal that immediately conveys the gravity of the topic at hand.
Similarly, the interior cover image, featuring Brad Pitt alongside Elvis in matching gold attire, reinforces the central message: "Seeing is not always believing." The juxtaposition of these iconic figures underscores the urgency of the article's message, driving home the need for skepticism in an age of digital deception.
To complement the powerful imagery, I selected a bold typeface for the title, ensuring prominence and alignment with the article's urgency. The article’s body typeface was carefully chosen for clarity and readability, while infographics and callout quotations further enhance comprehension and engagement. Anchored by a cohesive color scheme inspired by the opulent gold costumes, the design as a whole amplifies the weight and allure of the article, compelling readers to delve deeper into its contents.
